The Tooth Story, Part 2

I know you have all been eagerly waiting to hear the story of how I lost my second tooth. Right? Well, if you remember, a few months ago I had my first visit to the A&E because I knocked out a tooth while playing on a swing set with some friends. Apparently I did some damage to the tooth right beside the one I lost, though I didn't know it at the time. So that takes us up to about 2 weeks ago...

We have a nice hill right behind our house that is perfect for tractor riding.

You have to be careful though because you can really pick up some speed!

And, as I learned the hard way, it is not wise to quickly turn the steering wheel back and forth while going down the hill. Your tractor may not like that and decide to flip over and throw you off.

Don't worry. This was a reenactment. No teeth were lost in the taking of these pictures, and those are obviously fake tears. When it really happened, I managed to fall face first and help that other tooth get even more wobbly. We went to the dentist again, and they told us that there wasn't much we could do. It was going to come out. Thankfully they didn't need to take it out then. We waited until it came out all on its own while I was eating supper one night. I was so brave!

So I'm only 4 and have a nice little gap up front... that I will have for a few years until my adult teeth decide to come in. But at least I have a fun story to tell everyone that I meet! (And I do tell everyone I meet...)

(Just wanted to make sure you had a close up view!)
