Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We had a wonderful day celebrating today, and I hope you did too!

Our morning started off with a few treats in our Easter baskets. I got Mac from Cars. You will see him in many of the pictures from the day. I love him!

Riley Cates had fun checking out her basket.

What else is in here?

Then we had a yummy breakfast before church... Bunny biscuits! His eyes and nose were made out of blueberries, and his mouth was a strawberry. Delicious!

Well, I think it was delicious. I was too busy playing with Mac.

After church Mommy had a great idea of taking us outside so we could get a few pictures. I will spare you all of the outtakes (we didn't think it was as great of an idea as she did!), but we did manage to get a few cute ones in there!

Don't I have a beautiful sister?!

I managed to stop playing with Mac long enough to smile for one picture. But, don't worry, I held him tightly so that he couldn't get away!

Then I helped Mommy set the table. Can you tell?

And then they made me wait to eat the good smelling food! Can you believe it? Good thing Mac was there to help me get through it!

But the wait was well worth it! We had a great lunch with some great friends!

And then, my favorite part, of course, was this beautiful cake we got yesterday!

Oh, I can't believe I almost forgot to show you our newest eggs to add to our collection! Guess who was on my egg this year... Lightning McQueen!

They all have our names and years, and Sissy was caught red handed trying to steal my new one!

What a happy day!

Easter Hunt

Last night we had an Easter Hunt with some friends from church. (Mommy tells me that it is an Easter Egg Hunt, but I have heard it both ways.)
You know Riley Cates is serious when she sticks that tongue out!

We found lots of eggs filled with lots of candy! Hooray!

My buddy Hannah was there! She was better at smiling for the camera.

But, boy, did we have fun!

We had a great time looking for eggs together!

Sissy found one egg and was happy, contrary to how she looks in this picture.

We also had time to play, and I love driving cars!

We had a picnic outside, and a few of us got to eat at this table that was just our size!

After all of that yummy food, we had to do some exercise to work it off. It took three of us to get that treadmill working! Whew!

I love hunting for Easter!

An Adventure at Edventure

When I woke up this morning, Mommy told me we were going to the museum. I wasn't too sure about going, but I am so glad I did! I must warn you that we have lots of pictures... and these aren't even all of them! Daddy is preaching in Pennsylvania this week, so he needs to see lots! So sit back and enjoy!

First, we saw the fireman. I helped him with his hose.

And then I drove him to the fire!

I found a car to drive. You know how much I love cars!

This one wasn't quite ready to go. It needed some gas.

Then on to the kitchen...

Where I made a yummy pizza!

But my favorite place was the grocery store! I had to visit there about a million times! Mommy said she obviously hadn't taught me enough about making healthy choices. Check out my buggy... ice cream, donuts, cake mix. What's wrong with that? Sounds good to me!

To make her happy, I went and filled my buggy with fruits and veggies.

And then topped that off with pie. Lots of pie.

I even got to check out with my food!

Next we went to the vet (check it out, Aunt Beth! Just for you!). I was busy working on a diagnosis for this cat. I think he will be just fine!

But this guy... He had some dirty teeth!

I also got to drive a boat,

And a tractor! I am worn out from all that driving!

While on the farm, I thought about milking the cow, but she was just too loud.

I helped with the bottling process though.

Then we went to the construction zone. I love trucks and tractors!

Look at me getting ready to knock these blocks over!

Notice how I'm not in this picture? Yeah, that thing is scary. No thank you.

Like I told Mommy, "This is a good road table." You know how I like to line my cars up... This place was no different!

Did I mention that I got to see a big red dog named Clifford? I even fed him a bone!

And visited his post office.

Then we ended up with lunch at Rush's an a milkshake to go (to make sure I stayed awake on the drive home! It was a busy morning!). Mommy and I sure had a fun day!
