Oh, the Places You'll Go

Here is what I have been doing lots of lately:

We have been on the go A LOT recently. We counted how many states Riley Cates and I have visited, and we found that I have been to 23 different states, and Riley Cates has been to 20. That's A LOT. And it doesn't even reflect how many times we have visited states more than once!

Thankfully we are good little travelers. We can even manage to be super sweet sometimes. It's nice having someone in the backseat to play with!

Oh, and we don't get too tired of our carseats. When Daddy brought them inside the other day, what do you think we immediately played with? Yep. Our carseats. We just love them!

(Oh, Mommy said to tell you that it is really hard to get pictures of Riley Cates in the car. She sits backwards behind Mommy, so it just doesn't happen! And Daddy can't do it since he is busy driving. Safety first!)

The Rock

We got to see a new thing while we were in South Carolina this week. A really big rock. While that may not sound interesting, it really is. See, this rock, the rock, used to be at Mommy's house when she was a little girl. She and Aunt Abby (and many other people!) played on it lots way back when. Grannie Pammie just sold the house (it closed this week! Hooray!), so it was necessary to move the rock.
How? A big tractor!

Can you imagine being behind this on the interstate?

So, anyway, they brought it up to Blythewood! And now I get to play with it! I didn't think it was quite big enough, so I tried to add another rock to it. It wasn't seeming to work too well...

It's fun sitting up here!

Sissy liked it better once she got her coat on.

Good times and good memories!

Belated Birthday Celebration

Since everyone got sick around Riley Cates's birthday, and then we did some traveling, we never got to have a good party for her. So we did today! It is fun to celebrate!

We got these fun balloons for Sissy. I held them most of the day, just to make sure they didn't float away!

Here is the birthday girl! She is walking everywhere now!

You can never have too many necklaces, especially on party day. A girl must accessorize!

We had a cupcake theme for her because who doesn't like cupcakes?!?

Riley Cates got her own little cake.

I think she liked it!

She was even so kind as to want to share with everyone!

We had some fun friends stop by to celebrate with us! What a special night!

Time for Sissy to float off to bed! Hooray for birthdays!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Our day started out with a yummy breakfast... french toast with homemade strawberry butter and some delicious strawberries on the side.

The sugar was my favorite part, of course.

Riley Cates loved all of it!

Mommy surprised me with another fun treat while Sissy took her nap. A heart shaped donut! It was delicious, but I needed a fork... just like my Daddy! I don't like my hands to get sticky!

Then it was time to bundle up and burn off some of that sugar on a walk! What a great day! (We were excited, even if it doesn't look like it!)

I hope you had a Happy Valentine's Day, too!

Helping Mommy?

While Mommy cooked us a yummy supper tonight, I figured that she wanted me to help her organize her pantry a little.

I mean, what is in here?

Wow. That is a lot of stuff! It looks so much better like this!

But the best part was when Jackson found the chocolate chips. I have never had these amazing things before! (Notice that we took the party into a different room... away from where Mommy was cooking. We didn't want to get in her way. We are thoughtful like that! We messed up by getting too quiet... that always makes her suspicious!)

This is the best picnic EVER!
