First Hospital Visit

Today was a pretty eventful day! After church we went to have lunch with our friends. While I was playing outside with the other kids, I managed to knock out a tooth!!!!! Yikes! That is definitely not something you want to do when you are only 3! It was quite traumatic, really. We heard that we should put it back in, so that's what we did. It still felt funny, so we headed over to the A&E (that's the Emergency Room in England) to get it looked at. Tomorrow is a holiday, so we knew it would be at least Tuesday before we could see a dentist, and we just didn't want to wait that long.

First we had to pay for parking there.

Then we headed inside, and Mommy got us checked in.

They sent us back to the kids' waiting room, which was super fun. That was worth the trip, for sure! Look at all of these toys!

I found a hat that fit perfectly. (And a friendly elephant too!)

There was also a firetruck, so you know I was happy!

The nurses and doctors were all so helpful and kind. They ended up taking the tooth back out to be on the safe side (they didn't want me to choke on it tonight) and wanted me to check in with the dentist soon. They said that I was so brave that they gave me a sticker. It was from Cars, so that was exciting!

I'm pretty worn out from all of the excitement today, and I have a hole in my smile, but it could have been a lot worse, so we are thankful!
