Happy birthday to Riley Cates!

What is a better present to open first thing in the morning than a new robe?! And, of course, it has Elsa and Anna on it, making it the best ever.

For some reason (because they are really cool), we love the little milks here (they are a pint). The birthday girl got her very own little milk, made even cooler by a crazy straw! She also had her favorite breakfast of grits and eggs--yum!

Doesn't she look so grown up all ready for church?

We had Open House at our house today, so we had lots of friends to come celebrate. There was cake, of course. Mommy attempted a homemade funfetti cake... It was definitely fun, but the fetti were lacking. Boo. She made up for it with extra sprinkles and lots of candles.

She loved having everyone sing to her! (We are so shy! Haha!)

Time to make a wish and blow out the candles!

And to close the day, a cup of tea.

Yes, she moved Mommy's nice china teacup over so that she could use the fancy saucer with her not-so-fancy mug!

I'm Two Months Old!

Time flies when you're having fun! I'm 2 months old today! Mommy wanted to document the occasion with lots of pictures. I was a bit concerned...

I mean, who is this guy and why does he need to be in the picture?

Seriously. I don't think I like him.

Birthday

I thought I would go back and show you a few pictures from Rutherford's birthday! The morning started out with Mommy and Daddy at the hospital bright and early!

They had a long day ahead of them, but the wait was worth it to see this face afterwards!

Daddy got to meet Rutherford first (Mommy was asleep for the whole ordeal). They enjoyed a few cuddles right away!

Mommy finally got to have a few cuddles as well! And while it looks like a sweet moment (and it was!), I think Mommy was still not quite awake from all of the medicine they gave her!

Check out that crazy hair our brother had!

We were excited that he was finally here, though we didn't get to meet him until the following day. We celebrated his arrival with Happy Meals!
