Not only did we go sailing yesterday, but we also got to have a fun picnic with lots of our friends! Well before the food was ready, Hannah and I got everything ready. And by "got everything ready," I mean we made a mess out of what the Moms had already done! Oops!
But then we found the drink boxes, so that moved us away from the stuff we shouldn't touch!
The grown-ups really like to stand around and talk. How boring.
Aww... but look at the cute babies! So sweet!
Since sitting around and chatting is SO boring, the kids decided to play Bocce.
We had to wait for our turns patiently!
Ooh! Those sure are heavy!
Riley Cates decided the colored ones were too heavy, so she stole the white one. Unfortunately, without the white ball, there is no Bocce.
Riley Cates is too funny! I can't believe she ran away with it!
Apparently the fire truck was more fun anyway.
Hannah and I got on the swings and went really high!
And the adults stood around and talked some more...
Some of them got out a new game, which was pretty fun to watch. And by "watch," I mean get in their way while they tried to throw the balls.
Break time! Check out those rosy cheeks. It was hot outside!
Daddy and Mr. David (Hannah's daddy) had fun cooking together. They did a great job, by the way!
More playing while we wait! Peek-a-boo!
Time to swing!
Finally! Time to eat! Check out the fruit pizza Mommy made. I learned that all kinds of pizza are delicious!
Riley Cates and Caroline had some good bonding time at supper. They are only a few weeks apart, and they are so cute together!
Everything at supper was so yummy!
We couldn't sit still long, of course. As soon as we ate everything, we had to show off our frisbee skills.
Then Daddy put me and Riley Cates in the same swing! How silly!
I don't know that I have ever heard Riley Cates laugh so much and so hard!
In case you couldn't tell, we had an awesome day yesterday!
