A Day at the Park

We went to the park to enjoy this beautiful day! We got to play with several friends, and we had a great time! 

Riley Cates enjoyed chilling out on the swing,

And then she and I played music together. 

She had fun digging in the ground. Well, until Mommy wouldn't let her eat all of the things she dug up! 

I found a bucket and got to work filling it with sand, 

While Sissy got to work eating all of the sand (she heard someone say something about eating lunch at the park and got a bit confused, I think). 

Then I really got serious about the digging. Check out this cool thingy!

Then we had to go home and eat lunch, but after our naps, we went out to enjoy the day some more! I told Mommy I wanted to cut the grass. I am such a good helper! 

Sissy watched while eating Cheerios. 

And acorns. And dirt. She kept Mommy busy taking all of that yucky stuff away from her!

We had another fun day playing outside! We're supposed to get rain now, so we had to enjoy the sunshine while it lasted!

Spring?

Since it felt more like a spring day than a winter day today, we spent some time playing outside (not to mention that Daddy has the flu, so we wanted to stay as far away as possible!). I grabbed some leaves and made Mommy a "leafwich." What is a leafwich? Well, it is what the hungry, hungry herbivores eat on Dinosaur Train, of course! I even grilled it in the fire pit to make it extra yummy!

Riley Cates just hung out and played with my cup... because my cup and my Cheerios taste better than hers apparently!

Silly, happy girl!

I think tomorrow is going to be around 77 degrees. From winter to spring to summer all in a few days?!?

My Birthday!

Yesterday was my birthday, and what a fun day it was! It started out with pumpkin pancakes, my favorite! Then I got to open some presents. Of course, the best part was the paper and the pretty bow! After my nap, we loaded in the car and went to Chick-fil-A to play and eat. Don't I look like such a big girl in this picture?!

I tried climbing up the slide. I didn't get very far, but it sure was fun!

Hannah and Jackson came and played with me too!

Before we got home, Jackson got very sick. Poor guy. We all took long naps and then had my favorite supper. Spaghetti! (Have I mentioned that I like to eat?! Mommy made me lots of yummy things for my special day!)

Then came the most fun part of the whole day...

Is this really for me?!

I wasn't quite sure what to do with it at first. 

But I quickly figured it out! 

This is my super duper excited face!

This stuff is good! Where has it been all my life?

I was still pretty new at this whole cupcake thing. I wasn't sure if I should put it on my head...

Or my shoulder...

But I mostly got it right! The icing was amazing!

And, clearly, I loved all of it!

It was a very happy birthday! I can't wait to do this again!

Tomorrow is a Big Day!

Passport Day

Yesterday was a big day. Can you guess where I went? 

Yep! The Passport office! I should have mine within the next 6 weeks! 

And, just for fun, here's a picture of Jackson and Daddy on the day he got his passport! Can you believe how little Jackson looks?!

I just had to show you my snazzy outfit today. Please ignore the cup of milk. I was thirsty, what can I say? 

Riley Cates and I both had on blue clothes with a little horsey on them today. That was something BigWal always loved! I know he would have loved seeing this picture, especially knowing how difficult it is to get a picture of both of us smiling! 

While I looked goofy in this picture (who knows what I was doing?!?), Sissy is quite adorable, I must say! 

Oh, and Daddy and I matched in our bow ties today! (I was eating a pretzel, hence the funny smile...)

I'm Hungry!

Right before lunch, Mommy found me typing on the computer. When she asked me what I was doing, I said, "I looking for recipe. I want lunch!" 

Thanks to someone named Groupon, we went out to lunch today. I love this place because they give me crayons and let me color on the table! Mommy colored a road for me so that I could drive my cars everywhere!

She wanted me to smile for a picture, but this is as good as it gets when you interrupt my car playing time. 

Oh, excuse me, guacamole pitt stop. Yum!

Oh, did I tell you that I hurt my thumb? Thank goodness we have these Cars bandaids! (Have I mentioned that I like Cars?!) 

Riley Cates had fun at lunch too! Can you believe that we are sitting outside at a restaurant today when we were playing in the snow two days ago? Mississippi weather is crazy! 

Look how serious Sissy gets when she is trying what to decide to eat next. Don't let her fool you though. She will eat pretty much anything! She is a good eater and usually eats more than I do!

I'm happy as long as I have some lemonade!

We had a fun lunch together, followed by some sweet brother/sister time on the way home!
